The Evolution of Medium Density Housing
The transformation of Medium Density Housing (MDH) in New Zealand is one of the most significant shifts in our industry, moving from quarter acre sections to modern, urban, compact living. Consequently, this brings with it a change in how we bring communities together.
Driven by a transformative ethos, our team created volume 2 of the MDH magazine, “The Evolution of Medium Density Housing”. In this latest volume, we aimed to expand on the foundational insights gathered in 2022 by engaging with valued members of our industry. Through a series of interviews, we delved into their experiences, challenges, achievements, and aspirations for 2024. Moreover, this collaborative approach fosters the sharing of diverse perspectives, enriching our collective understanding.
To celebrate the launch of this new volume, we hosted two CPD-accredited networking events. These events featured a panel discussion with some of the voices that are featured in the magazine. Additionally, you can read more about these events on the MDH Networking Event: Christchurch and MDH Networking Event: Auckland blog posts.
If you’d like a copy of our latest MDH magazine, send us an email with your address details. Otherwise, scroll down the view the digital flipbook version.
We hope you are inspired by the people, housing developments, and landscape design featured in this issue.
